Ozurvival VR
A downloadable game for Windows
Ozurvival VR
Overview
Ozurvival is a first-person virtual reality (VR) simplified survival game that features content intended to teach the player about certain survival skills for an isolated Australian river environment, such as information on resources collected in the game (e.g. mangrove roots). The player must use the resources in the environment around him to craft utilities such as campfires, and use those utilities to stay nourished in order to make it through.
This game is a functional prototype and does not reflect the final creative vision of Ozurvival. This was created for our college degree in game development where we had to make an educational game that teaches the player about survival skills that they can use to help them survive in the wild.
Instructions
MOVE: Point to a location with your controller and press the side trigger to teleport.

This game requires a VR headset and a Windows PC in order to play. Although the controls have been designed specifically for Oculus Touch controls and has only been tested on Oculus, the game uses OpenXR and may be compatible with other headsets such as the Vive.
